Black British Golfers (BBG) is dedicated to transforming golf into a sport that is accessible, inclusive, and empowering for all, especially underrepresented communities in the UK.
Rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our mission aligns with key GOALS to promote inclusivity, education, health, and sustainable economic growth through golf. BBG leverages golf to create positive social change, open career pathways, and support small businesses.
What started as a mission to increase representation has become a powerful community that champions inclusion, confidence, wellbeing, and opportunity through the game of golf.
OUR PURPOSE
WHY DOES BLACK BRITISH GOLFERS EXIST?
• Celebrate historical pioneers and their unrecognized contributions to British golf, placing them center-stage in the game's narrative.
• Support and amplify contemporary professionals competing on the DP World Tour, Ladies European Tour and other platforms.
• Create grassroots pathways for emerging young Black talent through tournaments, taster sessions, mentoring and community partnerships.
• Transform British golf so that Black presence is visible, valued, and understood as central to the past, present and future of the sport
