LIV Golf supports BBG’s innovative, community-led approach to introducing young people from underrepresented backgrounds to golf across the UK. By combining innovation and technology, in line with the UN SDG Goals 2030, our technology-led strategy uses immersive experiences, gamified first touchpoints and culturally aware delivery to make golf feel modern, welcoming and relevant to a new generation.
Since 2024, this pathway has also included Future Fairways (LIV Golf’s Fairway Futures programme), through which young people have taken on internships, volunteering and hands-on roles at LIV Golf events, gaining experience in event operations, fan engagement and brand delivery in live elite sports environments. With LIV’s backing, this model turns major events into practical learning labs, helping young people build confidence, skills and networks, while our wider programme reaches 1,043 golfers and non-golfers through community-based sessions, simulator golf in London, Golf in Community Centres in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Paisley, London and Sheffield, and trips to St Andrews that connect new players to the heritage of the game.
The partnership demonstrates how professional golf can open real pathways into the game – from first swing to future player, volunteer, creator, or industry professional

BBG has partnered with Majesticks GC to deliver a Littlesticks activation at LIV Golf JCB, creating a fun, family-friendly space that brings the next generation right to the heart of elite golf.
Through games-based coaching, soft equipment, and inclusive, low-pressure activities, Littlesticks gives children a first taste of golf that feels welcoming, exciting, and culturally relevant, while allowing parents and guardians to experience LIV Golf JCB knowing their young people are actively engaged.

In September 2025, Black British Golfers proudly partnered with Prostate Cancer UK to deliver the charity's first-ever Black Community Golf Day at The Addington Golf Club in Surrey. The sold-out event brought together 100 golfers alongside high-profile supporters including former Premier League striker Andy Cole and broadcaster DJ Spoony, combining a celebration of golf with a vital health awareness mission. Working alongside Prostate Cancer UK's Black Health Equity team, we helped create a space where life-saving conversations could happen naturally within a trusted community setting.

This partnership reflects our commitment to using golf as a vehicle for positive change beyond the fairways. Black men in the UK face roughly double the risk of prostate cancer compared to other men—around 1 in 4 will be diagnosed in their lifetime—yet many are diagnosed too late due to health inequalities and outdated guidance. By bringing our community together through the sport we love, we can empower Black men to understand their risk, take action early, and access tools like Prostate Cancer UK's online risk checker. This landmark day demonstrated exactly what Black British Golfers stands for: representation, inclusion, and the power of golf to transform lives.

Since 2024, Black British Golfers has partnered with Fortune Favours Production, a broadcasting and media production company with a strong track record in capturing major sporting moments, including high-profile boxing events during Riyadh Season. Bringing that same creative excellence to golf, FFP has helped showcase BBG events through dynamic storytelling and fresh perspectives. The partnership has also opened new doors for talented videographers and photographers—many working in golf for the first time to expand their portfolios and shape how the sport is seen.
A proud milestone came with the PIF London Series 2025, where an all-female crew of videographers and photographers led coverage of the event. This moment reflected BBG’s ongoing commitment to inclusion and opportunity both on and off the course. Together with Fortune Favours Production, we’re continuing to redefine what golf looks like and who gets to tell its story.

Black British Golfers has been proud to partner with the PIF London Championship since 2022 under the #SEETHEIMPACT initiative, working together to open up golf to young people and underrepresented communities. From early invitations for young people to experience elite tournament environments, to our involvement with Sustained Futures and its Academy, the partnership has focused on education, access, and real-world pathways into the sport.

In 2023, young golfers Saskia Owen and Karabo Gwet made history as the first young people in the UK to play in the tournament field alongside leading professionals, gaining invaluable experience inside the ropes at a world-class event. As part of the Aramco Powered by HOW Studio, they met their idol Nelly Korda, talked all things golf, and received personalized tips on how to play a variety of shots—showcasing how this collaboration brings the next generation closer to the very top of the game.

The partnership has continued to grow each year. In 2024, BBG founder Ray Nyabola joined the Change With Conversation panel powered by the FII Institute, speaking live at Centurion Club on “Levelling the Playing Field: Strategies for Women and Youth Inclusion in Golf”. By 2025, the relationship had scaled to immersive community impact, with over 200 people attending the PIF London Championship through BBG for workshops, careers in golf experiences, and on-course access—demonstrating how this collaboration is turning visibility, opportunity, and inclusion into lasting change.

Black British Golfers has developed a strong partnership with The PGA, built around The Future Shapers Series as a flagship platform for highlighting talent and opportunity in golf. In 2024, this partnership was elevated when The PGA, through PGA Play, supported The Future Shapers Series event at The Belfry, bringing together adult golfers and young players from across the Black community for a day of competition, learning and inspiration.
