Our Club brings the community together through two distinct experiences:
CLUBHOUSE - the community hub for connection, announcements, and access
RANGE - structured, coached play designed to help you improve
Together, they create space to grow your game, your confidence, and your network.

CLUBHOUSE is the heart of the Club. This is where members stay connected, hear what’s coming up, and access opportunities beyond regular play — from social golf sessions to live event tickets.
Inside CLUBHOUSE:
• Community social golf sessions
• Announcements and upcoming experiences
• Access to live golf event tickets
• Member-first updates and opportunities
• A space where connection comes first

Learn. Improve. Play
RANGE sessions are structured, small-group coached play experiences. These are bookable sessions designed to help golfers progress together through real on-course learning.
What you’ll experience:
• Small group coaching
• Real-play learning: strategy, etiquette, decision-making
• Shared progression and accountability
• A supportive, judgement-free environment
• Sessions run monthly across different locations
• Members can book individual sessions or attend regularly
• Group sizes are kept small to ensure quality, comfort, and connection
• All sessions are inclusive and beginner-friendly - no handicap required

Start local: Look for community sessions, council courses, or driving ranges that offer pay-and-play access-no membership required.
Join a taster day: BBG event days and beginner meet-ups are the easiest ways to learn with others just starting out.
Book a lesson: A single session with a PGA-qualified coach can build confidence and teach you the basics-grip, stance, and swing.
Borrow or rent equipment: Don’t buy clubs straight away; most ranges provide sets you can use.
Learn the etiquette: Our beginner’s guide covers simple rules-like where to stand and how to care for the course.

In 2021, Ray Nyabola founded Black British Golfers (BBG) to connect these stories—past and present and to highlight a presence that has always been there but remained largely unseen.
Launched initially as a social media platform, BBG quickly became a hub for storytelling, community building and advocacy. The founding mission was clear: to surface the long-standing, often unrecognized Black presence in British golf and to create pathways educational, competitive and professional for future Black British talent.
Black golfers have been present in British golf for 140 years—from Edward Tull-Warnock winning the Weir Trophy at Turnberry in 1928, through David Phiri's Oxford Blue in 1962, Jim Howard's quiet professionalism in Wales, and Roland West's two decades shaping Altrincham, to Georgia Oboh and Robin "Tiger" Williams competing on today's global tours.
This is not a story of recent arrival or sudden diversity. It is a story of continuous presence, sometimes visible, often overlooked, but always significant.
